Hello there. I have new art going up today. Most of the art that I'm uploading is a direct result of Mrs. Brickey's Into To Abstract Art class.

The summer is shaping up to be pretty busy for me. As the end of the fiscal year at my job is wrapping up, I've started doing a bit of contracting work for Knox Area Rescue Ministries, who do a lot of work towards helping the homeless population in Knox Co. and surrounding counties. The work has been fun (and rewarding) so far.

My new class for this summer is tres sweet! It's all about doing some abstract art with oils and it's taught by an awesome painter, Jennifer Brickey.. I love painting nowadays, and I wanted a way to 'ease' myself back into school, since I have been out since 2001. So, this was the way for me.

To follow my progress in this class, I'm going to post it into my blog. Have fun with this.
